TabTrade Review - The Good and the Catch
The Broker — The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It suggests the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still preferable to a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that coverage is solid.
What You Trade On
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. Many pick one platform. Getting both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
FIX API is offered for algo traders but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would be a good addition once it is live.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade does not.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The execution is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It does factor into your assessment.
What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal is worth it depends on you.

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before funding.
